Beng Melea & Koh Ker Group Trip

Beng Melea & Koh Ker Group Trip

Temples from the Beng Melea and Koh Ker Group reside in several locations. Pyramid Brasat Thom is the name given to it by visitors in the Koh Ker region. Drive to Beng Melea (Jungle Temple) and Koh Ker group, located in the middle of a jungle, a few hours from Siem Reap. From the entrance, there is a lovely view of the pyramid (Brasat Thom in the Koh Ker Group of temples), but no other structures are visible. The pyramid was built with excellent quality.

The excursion continues south to the densely forested and walled-off jungle temple of Beng Mealea. Observe the enormous trees that have sprouted from the wreckage. This temple, which was constructed 30 years before Angkor Wat in a similar design and pattern, was created.

Phnom Kulen Waterfall Tour

Phnom Kulen Waterfall

Phnom Kolen Waterfall is located far from Siem Reap city, about 8 km. We’ll pick up tickets in town first, get the car to drop at the base of the mountain (along the road to the right of the main ticket booth, about 1 km), walk around the sites and see the 1000 Lingars, waterfall, and Preah Angthom pagoda.

The walk up to the big statue of Buddha is really great; it starts with a mass of steps. Along the way, there are two pagodas (one old and one under construction) and a small pool if you already need to freshen up. The waterfall is beautiful and you can get really close to it. There were two waterfalls; one was smaller and the other was larger. We swam in the larger one. You can store your things in a locker that’s at the base of the waterfall. It’s a small fee ($2–3 USD) to rent one, and they give you a key you can put on your wrist so you won’t lose it.

Floating Village (On Tonle Sap Lake) Tour

Floating Village (On Tonle Sap Lake) Tour

There are four locations on the Floating Village (On Tonle Sap Lake) Tour that are all in Siem Reap Province but in different directions. Kompong Pluk, Kompong Kleang, Chong Kneas, and Me Chrei are among the floating individuals. I’d like to suggest Kompong Pluk as an excellent location. It is near the Tonle Sap Lake’s edge.

Viewing of Kompong Pluk

About 35 kilometers to the southeast of Siem Reap Town is Kampong Pluk. The other route takes an average Tuk-Tuk only thirty minutes. A boatman takes you to the village when you arrive at the dock and cross a little brook. Although it is on the way to Rolous Village, the Rolous Group Temple is still rather far away. If you notice a floating settlement, you will need to take a boat ride to get there. A village on the island of Tonle Sap Lake, Floating Houses, Told Houses (Fisherman’s Lifestyle), and a Floating Forest are all present.
